Angrezi Medium’s new song Ladki is out. The song features Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is playing the role of a police officer in the film.

Ladki is inspired from an old folk song. The song was first composed by Sachin-Jigar for MTV Coke Studio. It was sung by Rekha Bhardwaj and Sachin’s daughter, Tanishka.

The Angrezi Medium song is crooned by Rekha Bhardwaj. The video of the song also shows glimpses of Irrfan and Radhika Madan’s bond in the film. It starts with Irrfan’s character saying, “Bachpan me bacche humari ungli pakad ke chale hain, taki wo bheed me kho na jaayein. Par jis din wo humari ungli chod dein, aisa lage hum hi kho gae hain.”

The relationship of Kareena and her mother in the film, Dimple Kapadia, is also explored in this song.
