Actor Sooraj Pancholi, who is being targeted with conspiracy theories that link him to the deaths of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian, has quit Instagram. Sooraj took to Instagram stories Friday night and bid adieu to the social media platform.
He deleted all of his Instagram posts, except one from his 28th birthday celebration on November 9, 2018.
“See you Instagram! Hopefully will see you someday when the world is a better place,” Sooraj had shared in his Insta story. “I need to breathe. #suffocated,” he added.
Sooraj and his mother, Zarina Wahab, have both dismissed reports that suggested he knew Disha Salian, or had thrown a party on the night before Sushant’s death.
Responding to the controversy, Sooraj’s father Aditya Pancholi said, “One foolish guy posted and all this major media picked it up and made it into an issue. This is not fair. Everyone has to be responsible, we had to go through so much pain.”
