The Uttar Pradesh government is convening a special cabinet meeting today, January 22, 2025, at the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. This significant event will be led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and is set to take place at the Triveni Sankul in Arail, starting at noon. The venue was strategically chosen to minimize disruption for the many pilgrims visiting the Sangam during this holy festival, which began on January 13 and will continue until February 26, 2025.

The meeting is expected to involve all 54 ministers of the Uttar Pradesh cabinet, focusing on key developmental initiatives across the state.
