On February 10, 2025, a midsize business jet skidded off the runway while landing at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona and collided with a parked jet, resulting in one death and four injuries. The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. local time.

Details of the Incident:
A Learjet 35A arriving from Austin, Texas, veered off the runway after landing.
The Learjet then collided with a stationary Gulfstream G200 business jet.
Kelli Kuester, Scottsdale Airport’s aviation planning and outreach coordinator, indicated the left main landing gear on the Learjet may have malfunctioned upon touchdown.

Casualties and Response:
One person was killed in the collision.
Four others were injured; two were taken to local trauma facilities, one was treated, and one declined medical care.
The Scottsdale Fire Department worked to recover a person trapped in one of the aircraft.

Aircraft Information:
The Learjet 35A that veered off the runway is owned by Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil, who was not on board at the time. There were two pilots and two passengers on board the Learjet.
The band shared a statement from Neil’s representative, and said Neil's thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved.
