The Delhi Congress will not vote in today’s mayoral election for the city’s civic council. Anil Chaudhary, the head of the Delhi Congress, stated that the party’s decision to oppose the Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP in the contests for the positions of mayor, deputy mayor and leader of the house in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has been made by a unanimous vote. “Three councilors were chosen by Congress to lead the party in the MCD in a secret vote. Nazia Danish will serve as the party’s leader in the MCD, with Sheetal serving as her deputy and Shagufta as her advisor. The top whip will be Chaudhary, he said.
