The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced the Class 10 and Class 12 board results today. Students can check Uttar Pradesh Board result 2020 on the official websites of upmsp.edu.in, upmspresults.up.nic.in and http://upresults.nic.in/. According to the rules of the UP board, a student will have to secure a minimum of 35 per cent in each subject to pass.

    • The students will be able to get mark sheets after 10 days of declaration of results at their respective schools.

    UP Board Result Live Updates: Important Updates

    • This year a total of 27,72,656 students appeared for 10th class while 23,09,802 passed. The pass percentage is 83.31%, improves from previous years.
    • Girls outperformed boys in both high school and intermediate exams. The pass percentage for class 10 is 83.31 while it is 81.96 per cent for class 12.
    • Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma has announced that the toppers will get 1 lakh cash along with a laptop for each.
    • Anurag Malik tops the class 12 exam with 97 per cent marks.
    • “It was like a dream to release the exam results in the times of Covid-19,” said Dinesh Sharma.
    • Riya Jain from Bhagpat tops class 10 with 96.67% marks. Abhimanyu Verma from Lakhpera scored the second spot with 95.53%. The third rank is obtained by Yogesh Pratap Singh with 95.33%.
    • Digital marksheets to be issued to students: Deputy CM. “We will provide digital mark sheets. The students will able to get it within three days and it will be valid as original mark sheets,” deputy CM Dinesh Sharma announced.
    • Career options after class 10th: Uttar Pradesh Board will announce the class 10th results soon. Those who pass the class 10th exam will have a variety of options to take chose from for higher studies. The can chose to take arts, science or commerce streams in intermediate (class 12th) as per their interest.
    • Career options after class 12th: Students who pass class 12th exams have various options to chose for their higher studies. They can chose to do bachelors in arts, commerce, science disciplines or can take up vocational courses for a professional degree.

    • Press conference to announce UP Board Results 2020 will begin at 12 noon today. Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma will announce the results.
    • Students are advised to keep their admit cards ready. Once the result is out, they have to enter the roll number and school code on the login pager to check their scores.

By the way, exams and examinations are only medium of self-analysis.Therefore, it is best to accept each test easily. May all of you get the desired result by the grace of Lord Shri Ram.”
    • To pass both class 10 and 12, candidates have to secure a minimum of 35 per cent.
    • The UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 examinations 2020 were concluded in March. However, due to Covid-19 outbreak, the evaluation of the answer sheets was delayed.
    • Over 56.11 lakh students appeared in the class 10 and 12 exams this year, with 30.24 lakh students (30,24,632) in High School and 25.86 lakh (25,86,440) students in Intermediate.
