The Court has conceded the CBI three weeks to present an advancement report on the examination, which will be introduced on September 17. As a component of the examination, Sandip Ghosh will go through a polygraph test on Saturday to uncover any disparities in the situation.

On August 13, the Calcutta High Court requested the exchange of the test from the Kolkata Police to the CBI, which began its examination on August 14.
The CBI has alleged that there was an attempt by the local police to cover up the rape and killing of the postgraduate medic as the crime scene was altered at the point when the public authority association took command over the test.
The polygraph or falsehood recognition test must be led after the court’s authorization and the suspect’s assent. Ghosh and four other doctors who were on duty on the date of the incident have agreed to take the polygraph test
