On February 10, 2025, a midsize business jet skidded off the runway while landing at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona and collided with a parked jet, resulting in one death and four injuries. The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. local time.

A Learjet 35A arriving from Austin, Texas, veered off the runway after landing.
The Learjet then collided with a stationary Gulfstream G200 business jet.
Kelli Kuester, Scottsdale Airport’s aviation planning and outreach coordinator, indicated the left main landing gear on the Learjet may have malfunctioned upon touchdown.

Casualties and Response:
One person was killed in the collision.
Four others were injured; two were taken to local trauma facilities, one was treated, and one declined medical care.
The Scottsdale Fire Department worked to recover a person trapped in one of the aircraft.

Aircraft Information:
The Learjet 35A that veered off the runway is owned by Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil, who was not on board at the time. There were two pilots and two passengers on board the Learjet.

• Nalanda District On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, a speeding truck collided with a passenger-filled auto-rickshaw near the Pragati Petrol pump in the Chhabilpur police station area, resulting in three deaths and three injuries. The deceased were identified as Kanchan Devi, Dilip Kumar, and Bindi Prasad. Priyanka Devi, Rinki Devi, and Ravi Ranjan Kumar were injured and admitted to Rajgir sub-divisional hospital and later referred to Pawapuri Medical College and Hospital. Police are investigating the truck driver for rash and negligent driving, as he fled the scene.

• Patna District On Friday, November 22, 2024, a truck hit an autorickshaw carrying school students in the Bihta police station area, killing three children and injuring several others. The deceased were identified as Aarushi Kumari (8), Abhishek Kumar (9), and Prakash Kumar (6). The injured were admitted to Patna AIIMS and other local hospitals. An irate mob thrashed the truck driver and damaged several vehicles, blocking vehicular traffic.
