Team Vitality Win PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 After 3-0 Final

23-FEB-2026, 12:46 PM, Team Vitality have been crowned champions of PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 after defeating PARIVISION 3-0 in the Counter-Strike 2 grand final on February 22.

The French-led international roster produced a dominant performance in the best-of-five final, winning all three maps against PARIVISION. Vitality secured Overpass 13-10, Dust2 13-4 and Inferno 16-13 to lift the championship trophy.

The victory gave Vitality their second tournament title of the 2026 season, following their earlier success at IEM Kraków. Team Vitality also entered the Cluj-Napoca tournament as one of the world’s strongest Counter-Strike teams.

Vitality Dominate the Grand Final

The grand final was played as a best-of-five series, meaning the first team to win three maps would become champion.

Vitality quickly established control on Overpass.

PARIVISION managed to keep the opening map competitive, but Vitality eventually closed it out 13-10.

The second map, Dust2, was considerably more one-sided.

Vitality dominated the contest and won 13-4, moving to within one map of the championship.

PARIVISION needed to produce a comeback on Inferno to keep the final alive.

Instead, Vitality held their nerve in a much closer third map.

After regulation ended 13-13, Vitality won the overtime rounds and secured Inferno 16-13, completing the 3-0 sweep.

flameZ Shines in the Final

While Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut had been one of Vitality’s leading performers throughout the tournament, Shahar “flameZ” Shushan delivered an outstanding performance in the grand final.

flameZ finished the series with a 1.48 rating, the highest rating among the players in the final.

He also recorded 54 kills across the three maps, helping Vitality maintain control during important rounds.

ZywOo also produced a strong performance, finishing the final with a 1.22 rating.

The result showed that Vitality were not dependent on a single player. Several members of the roster made important contributions during the championship match.

ZywOo Named Tournament MVP

ZywOo’s strong overall tournament performance earned him the MVP award for PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026.

They defeated Aurora 2-0 in the quarterfinals before beating The MongolZ 2-0 in the semifinal.

PARIVISION entered the final after an impressive tournament run of their own.

The team had already defeated several strong opponents on their way to the championship match.

However, Vitality proved too strong in the final.

PARIVISION finished second and received $100,000 from the tournament prize pool.

MOUZ finished third at PGL Cluj-Napoca after defeating The MongolZ in the third-place match.

MOUZ won the contest 2-0, taking Mirage 13-6 and Inferno 13-10.

The result earned MOUZ $68,750, while The MongolZ finished fourth with $43,750.

The final standings reflected the highly competitive nature of the event, with several of the world’s leading teams making deep playoff runs.
