On Tuesday, Praveen Khandelwal, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, criticized the alliance parties in INDIA for remaining silent regarding the event involving the rape and death of a female doctor at R G Kar Medical College and Hospital.
“In this matter, not only Mamata Banerjee but also the INDI Alliance is entirely responsible, as no party has yet spoken a single word in support of the victim,” he stated.
Chief Minister Banerjee was also charged by Khandelwal of lacking empathy for the people and pursuing her political ambitions alone.
Vandalism took place within the hospital. Why weren’t the vandals arrested for their actions? Did the hospital have any CCTV cameras? These cameras may be used to identify the criminals, right? He told ANI, “It appears that Mamata Banerjee is just interested in advancing her political ambitions; she doesn’t seem to care about the people.”
He went on to criticize Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, claiming that physicians in Kolkata are demonstrating because she has failed to act appropriately in the wake of the murder and rape in Kolkata.
“Doctors are on strike because Mamata Banerjee has proven to be a failure in this entire matter and has not been able to take any effective steps,” he said.
Additionally, Khandelwal charged Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, with lying to cover up her inability to handle the rape murder case in Kolkata.
“Everyone in the nation is aware of Mamata Banerjee’s utter failure in the RG Kar case, and she continues to lie to conceal her failure. The mother of the victim will be deemed to have made the statement as she is the victim’s mother. Recompense could be required to support oneself… But a mother in India cannot give in to her daughter’s demands for justice,”
His comments come after the victim’s mother made accusations on Monday that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had lied about not providing monetary compensation.
“Liarry is the Chief Minister. My daughter is not coming back. If I were to lie in her name? The Chief Minister assured us that we would be compensated and recommended that we make a memorial for our daughter.
