Ahead of his nomination filing, a traditional ceremony was held where family members applied a tilak on his forehead and performed an aarti, signifying blessings for his campaign.

In his statements, Fadnavis emphasized the developmental work carried out during his tenure and that of the Mahayuti alliance, which includes the BJP, Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction), and Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). People have witnessed what we’ve done and how quickly we’ve completed different developmental tasks,” he said.
